Komodo is a leading company in the creation and production of events. They have joined forces with RFRSH to organize the tournament in Madrid. Komodo has a great reputation in these types of events. Since it has been responsible for organizing competitions such as the UEFA Champions League and the Tennis Open in Madrid.
The best players on one stage
The main attraction of the BLAST Pro series will be the contending teams. In previous editions, clubs like SK Gaming (now MIBR), Ninjas in Pyjamas, Natus Vincere and the fearsome Astralis have participated in the tournament. Therefore, it is a unique opportunity to see the best CS: GO players compete in the Spanish capital.
Spain is a country that lives and truly loves electronic sports. It has already hosted the finals of the European LCS League of Legends at the Palacio de Vistalegre. With the stadium full, Fnatic lifted its seventh European title with thousands of Spanish fans. Now the BLAST Pro series is all set to land on the peninsula soil.
Komodo and RFRSH join forces for the Madrid
While it is true that in Spain, CS: GO does not attract as many followers as the popular MOBAs, seeing the best players in the world, will surely encourage the growth of the title. The tournament organized by RFRSH will stop in São Paulo (March 22 and 23) and Miami (April 12 and 13) before landing in the capital of Spain. Last year, the championship was played in Copenhagen, Istanbul, and Lisbon. Owing to the success of events in 2018, it was confirmed that the BLAST Pro Series is here for the long run.
RFRSH Entertainment, the organizer of the tournament, has joined forces with Komodo. Komodo is a leading company in the production and organization of sporting events. According to the CEO and founder of Komodo, Javier Tomás, this agreement is the perfect combination.
Organizers Dreaming big
Jordi Roig, the Executive Producer of BLAST Pro Series, affirms that the Komodo experience promoting great events will be fundamental. Along with the focus on live entertainment and broadcast production, it will ensure a more exciting product that the competitive world has seen so far.
In the statement, Jordi has confirmed that there will be more news and activities after the agreement with Komodo. The championship, which will take place at the Madrid Arena on 10 and 11 May, will have a capacity for 6,000 people.
