Dota 2 always leaves fans thrilled every year as Valve hosts the biggest esports tournaments for it. Teams from all over the world tried their best to win some of the biggest tournaments that were held, but only a few were lucky enough to win them. We also saw some massive roster changes. Today, we are going to talk about some of the best Dota 2 teams of 2019.

Vici Gaming

Dota 2

Vici Gaming was easily one of the best Dota 2 teams of 2019 because of their amazing performance. They managed to deliver what their fans were expecting. Although they had a relatively slow start, they still managed to win the StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor Season 2. This was when everything changed as Vici was hungry for more. Soon after it, they won two of the last three majors. This was something that helped them take the third spot in DPC, leaving Evil Geniuses behind them. There are still some issues that the team has to attend to, and they will hopefully overcome them in 2020.

PSG.LGD had an amazing season in 2019 as they managed to win some of the biggest matches. Although they couldn’t make it far in TI9, their fans were still satisfied with their performance. The most amazing thing about them was that they were one of the few teams that managed to keep up with Team Secret, Evil Geniuses, and Virtus Pro. All three mentioned teams are some of the strongest teams out there, and keeping up with them is not an easy task. Still, LGD managed to give their best and maintained a strong position. They managed to finish in the top six at every Major that was held in 2019.

Team Liquid

Dota 2

Team Liquid has always been regarded as one of the best Dota 2 teams in the world. They had a slow and rough start, but eventually made some changes to their strategies through which they were able to win some really tough matches. Their performance in TI9 was remarkable, as they won five series without a loss. They managed to defeat LGD through which they secured a spot in the grand finals. Everyone was left surprised with their performance as they lost only one match to LGD. But they still weren’t lucky enough to fin the grand finals. Fans are now looking forward to seeing whether they will manage to win the next year’s International or not.

Whenever someone talks about the best Dota 2 team in the world, everyone gets a picture of OG in their mind. The reason behind this is that they have been dominating the Dota 2 scene for the past few years, winning back-to-back Internationals. Although OG skipped the first Major and missed out the second one, they still managed to give an amazing performance throughout the year. They won The International 2019 against Team Liquid, and became the biggest team of 2019. Now that we’re heading into the next year, it will be exciting to see whether they will continue to perform like this or not.
