The 20 best teams in the European Regional Leagues of the League of Legends will meet again in April. This will be the third installment of the European Masters, the second largest title in Europe. In the competition, ten academies of LEC teams will be competing.
The MAD Lions lineup of 2018 knows what it means to make a perfect season in the old EU continent. The side’s dominating coronation at the European Masters in Katowice put them in the competitive elite. This and so much will be on the line for the 20 competing teams. They will fight for the glory, to catch the attention of the LEC scouts and a total of 150,000 euros in prizes.
This third year of European Masters will begin on April 8 and although there is no official venue, there is a definitive date for the grand final: April 27. The list of 10 competing teams is as below:

- G2 Heretics
- SK Prime
- FC Schalke 04 Evolution
- Misfits Premier
- Rogue Esports Club
The teams will compete against the best of the Regional Leagues of Europe for the title and recognition.
The participating teams will face the champions of the leagues of Spain, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Poland, the Balkans, and the Nordic countries. While the runners-up will play the opening phase from 8 to 11 April. The best of all will go to the group stage, while the second to fifth will compete for the remaining two passes.
The group stage will consist of the champions, academies and the three qualifiers in the opening phase. This means 16 teams will be divided into four groups that will fight from April 15 to 18 in a single round against their rivals. The top two of each group are automatically classified and go to the quarterfinals.
In the quarterfinals, the teams will face each other for the best of three and it will be the last phase before the face-to-face final, which will take place on the 27th of April. The strange thing, that according to these official dates of Riot Games, the semifinal and the final would take place at the same day, Saturday 27.

Meanwhile, in Korea, the entertainment company Comcast Spectacor and SK Telecom T1 are carrying out negotiations. The most successful team in the history of League of Legends, have reached a surprising agreement. It will end with one of the most iconic names in the history of eSports. In the official announcement, both organizations have revealed the new name of the entity: T1 Entertainment & Sports.
Comcast Spectacor owns the Philadelphia Fusion in the Overwatch League. It will seek to bring the new brand T1 Entertainment & Sports to different eSports such as Fortnite, PUBG, Super Smash Bros or Apex Legends.
