Fortnite season 10 is here, and a new season always means something is about to get vaulted. For those who don’t know, Epic Games has a habit of vaulting some feature and items whenever they release a new season. Season 10 is no exception, and it has seen some weapons being vaulted. However, this has made room for new weapons to arrive, and it seems like something amazing is coming.

Automatic Sniper Rifle Might Arrive Soon

One of the weapons that was vaulted is the Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle, and its replacement is already in the works. Recently, some data miners were able to discover a new weapon in the game’s files, which is in fact the Automatic Sniper Rifle. Not only this, but we have also been given a sneak-peek into how the weapon will work and what it will feature.

To start with, the Automatic Sniper Rifle will be available in all four rarity variants, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, and Legendary. Epic Games plans to release this only in its lowest or highest rarity variants for the most part. While all four will be available, they won’t all be as common.

How Much Damage Will It Do?

As for the damage, this will depend on the rarity level. It will deal 30, 31, 33, or 35 damage per shot depending on its rarity. In addition to this, it will feature a clip size of 16 bullets, and its reload time will also depend upon its rarity. The uncommon variant will have a four-second reload time, whereas the Legendary variant will take 3.42 seconds to reload. The other two variants will be somewhere between these values.

At the moment, we currently don’t know the weapon will work, but we can get an idea from its name. For instance, the Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle fired a bullet whenever a player would click to shoot without the need to reload it after every shot. If we take things into consideration, then it is safe that you will be able to fire bullets from the Automatic Sniper Rifle continuously simply by holding the trigger button down.

Can It Become the Favorite Sniper?

In any case, the Automatic Sniper Rifle might not become the favorite sniper rifle in the game. The Semi-Auto Sniper Rifle was not used a lot because players always prefer the Heavy Sniper Rifle. The reason behind this is that most players prefer landing a single heavy shot on their opponent instead of hitting multiple low damaging shots. So, the chances for the Heavy Sniper Rifle to remain as a priority will be high.

Fortnite Season 10 has also added new content to the game. It has added a new vehicle, a two-player mechanical robot. One player will have control of its weapon, while the other gets to move the vehicle around. In addition to this, an old location, the Dusty Depot, has also once again appeared in the game.
