Fortnite Season 10 Has Arrived, Here’s What’s New

The much-awaited Fortnite season 10 is finally here. Fans have been waiting for this season to arrive for a long time. In fact, the hype surrounding it has been greater than that of many previous seasons. This new season, which is officially being called Season X, has brought some major changes to the game. Not only this, but they are some of the most substantial changes we’ve seen in quite some time.

New Vehicle: B.R.U.T.E

To start with, Epic Games has decided to add yet another amazing vehicle to the game, called the B.R.U.T.E. It is a mechanical robot that can be controlled by two players. One player is tasked with controlling its movement, while the other will be given control of its weapons. However, you can operate it alone if you want to.

While we currently don’t know what the name is an acronym for, it is safe to say that it will help you create chaos in the land of Fortnite. The player who has control of the weapons will get to use a shotgun with a 10-shell clip and a missile launcher that can fire 10 missiles at once.

New Locations

As for locations, Season 10 sees the return of a number of familiar places. Those who were around during Season 3 may remember a place called the Dusty Depot, which was destroyed at the end of season. Now, it has returned once again after the orb’s explosion at Loot Lake. In addition to this, the very meteor which destroyed Dusty Deport has also appeared, but only as a point of interest.

Changes to the Battle Pass

Season 10 has also introduced some changes to the Battle Pass. Earlier, we were required to complete Fortnite Battle Pass Challenges. Now, there are going to be Fortnite Battle Pass Missions. Although they will be still released weekly and work in the same way, the rewards they offer are different. Instead of just receiving Battle Stars and XP for completing a mission, you will now earn some exclusive cosmetic items too.

In addition to this, players will be able to gift the battle pass to a friend. However, this option is available until August 15 only. There will also be a reward waiting for you after you gift something to your friend from the item shop.

Vaulted Features and Items

Just like the previous seasons, Season 10 has also vaulted some weapons and items from the game. These include:

  • Baller
  • Quad Crasher
  • Flint Knock Pistol
  • Shadow Bomb
  • Semi-Auto Sniper
  • Tactical Assault Rifle
  • Mounted Turret
  • Air Strike
  • Itemized Glider Redeploy

Season 10 has definitely changed the game for the better. The content it has introduced is amazing, and players are going to enjoy it a lot. This season was also delayed because of The Fortnite World Cup. If it weren’t for that, we would’ve already been enjoying Season 10 a week ago.
