Latest roster changes in Dota 2

As we head towards the start of the 2019-2020 Dota Pro circuit, teams are busy formulating their rosters. Let’s have a look at some of the biggest announcements that took place in the past 24 hours.

Ninjas in Pajamas announces new Dota 2 roster

Ninjas in Pajamas have officially announced the roster that will represent the club in the 2019/2020 DPC season. The roster includes Peter “ppd” Daguerre and CAAX “UNiVeRsE” Arora.

UNiVeRsE and ppd will be playing alongside Malta “Biver” Winter, Nico “Gunnar” Lopez and Oliver “oliver” Lepko. The organization had to part ways with Marcus “Ace” Helgard, Adrian “Fata” Trinks, Nope “33” Shapira and Martina “Saksa” Sazdova. It is not yet known where these players will continue their careers.

UNiVeRsE and ppd have previously played together – from 2014 to 2016 for Evil Geniuses. Meanwhile, oliver and Biver have decent experience representing Infamous, and Gunnar played for Team Jinesbrus.

Newbee ready for 2019-2020 DPC

Yin “Aq” Rui, Zeng “Faith” Hunda and Lai “Fonte” Xunyu officially joined the Newbee roster. The trio will play alongside Wen “Wizard” Lipeng and Young “waixi” Xiao. The organization announced this news on its official Facebook and wibeo pages.

The new members of Newbee previously represented Typhoon E-Sports Club. The team was defeated in the open qualifiers of The International 2019 and missed out on the most prestigious eSports tournament.

Last season, Newbee was unable to qualify for a single Dota Pro Circuit tournament. The best achievement of the team was the first place at World Cyber Games 2019 . The team also finished second in the FVBET Asian Masters League and JBO Asian Masters League. Let’s hope that these signings will change the fortunes of the team that had its fair share of troubles in the past years.

Vici Gaming removes Fade

Vici Gaming have officially unveiled its Dota 2 roster, which will represent the organization in the 2019/2020 season. The team has made only one change as they replaced their support and in-game leader, Pan “Fade” Yu with Xiong “Pyw” Jiahan.

Prior to signing for Vici, Pyw represented Team Serenity which finished at 9-12th place at The International 2018. Meanwhile, Fade will play for Team Aster in the upcoming season.

In 2018-2019 DPC, Vici Gaming competed in five majors and won two of them, DreamLeague Major and EPICENTER Major 2019. The team received an invitation to The International 2019 and took 5-6th place in the championship.

These are all the changes that took place in the past 24 hours. We will continue to update you with all the latest transfer news as we head to the new DPC season. The new season will be inaugurated with the DOTA Summit 11 that will be held between 7th and 10th November in Los Angeles. The tournament will host and will have a prize pool of $300,000 and 660 DPC points.
