Liquid back in the game with Ex-Alliance Dota 2 Roster

Team Liquid are not down and out of the Dota 2 circuit, recent news showed that they are going to pick up the Ex-Alliance roster, they announced yesterday that they have signed the former Alliance stack of Michael “miCKe” Vu, Maximilian “qojqva” Bröcker, Samuel “Boxi” Svahn, Tommy “Taiga” Le and Aydin “iNSaNiA” Sarkohi.

The team had recently competed at The International 2019 and left the tournament disheartened after they made a grave mistake of a mis-click which resulted in picking a hero instead of banning him. In the end, they placed 13th-16th in the event but were able to take a hefty sum home of US$500,000+

The team has set out its goals as to be the forerunner in the circuit in the coming time as considering their new stack they feel confident with their ability and the new Team Liquid looks like a competitive team and are fan favorites with the third installment of the Dota 2 Pro Circuit Season. Luck is on their side as well because Team Secret, OG and the former Team Liquid roster are going to be taking a break and sitting back for this time.

They are certainly proving their mettle with the short amount of time they have had to adjust they just recently came 2nd in the BETWAY Midas Mode 2.0, where they unfortunately lost in the grand finals (0-3) to a stack of streamers who dominated them in the finals. Before The International 2019, they had successfully won the DOTA Summit 10 and had also managed to secure positions fifth-sixth in the EPICENTER majors.

With all that they have achieved they have received a direct invitation for the regional qualifier in Europe for the first set of Dota Pro Circuit events. They are scheduled to compete in the MDL Chengdu Major qualifier on the 5th of October so with that new Team Liquid are going to have a busy schedule for the next month as they are going to be playing consistently against teams that are going to put up a great fight. Along with them, the teams that are going to be competing are Ninjas in Pyjamas, Ad Finem, Team Singularity, Wind and Rain, GODSENT, Hippomaniacs and Cool Team and these are the known ones as there will be other teams that are soon to be determined so New Liquid is in for a world of competition therefore they need to be on their A-game.

The Dota Pro Circuit is the epitome of intense competition so with the likes of the teams mentioned above and even though certain juggernauts like Team Secret, OG and the former Team Liquid roster are not going to be taking a sit-back there is still the advent of a fierce battle between these teams where only the best will come out on top. Team Liquid’s first match be a two-match series versus Hippomaniacs on October 5 at 6:00 a.m. EST (3:00 a.m. PST).
