Team Liquid announces New Dota2 lineup

The former Alliance Dota 2 squad has officially signed for Team Liquid. The debut match of the lineup under the new organization will take place in the qualifiers for MDL Chengdu Major.

On September 26, the side led by Aiden iNSaNiA Sarkoi left Alliance. The composition has represented the organization since November 2017.  Max “qojqva” Broker joined the roster before qualifiers of The International 2018. The team did not qualify for the championship, but the following season received a direct invitation to the tournament on DPC points. At TI9 in Shanghai, the side finished at 13-16th place.

The previous Team Liquid team left the organization on September 13th. The leader of the side, Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Tahasomi announced that he wants to establish his own club. According to rumors, the Liquid organization failed to meet the financial demands of its roster.

Virtus Pro signs a new position five

The CIS side announced Vitaliy “save” Melnik as their new support during qualifiers for MDL Chengdu Major. He will replace Vladimir “RodjER” Nikogosyan, who was recently transferred to the reserve squad.

The first match of the new VP will take place on October 5. In the closed qualifiers of MDL, the CIS side will be competing alongside Old But Gold and HellRaisers. Other opponents of the team will be winners of the open qualifiers, which will be held from 3rd October.

Save is a 17-year-old player from Moldova who at the start of the fourth matchmaking season, entered the top 7 of the European ladder. Previously, Melnik did not play on the professional stage: His competitive experience is limited to 3rd tier sides like FlyToMoon and CoM19SpadaNJI. In the past few days Save has had several training games with Virtus.pro.

Save, like epileptick1d , is among the top players in the European ladder. In public, he mainly plays in the fourth position, but occasionally picks Invoker and Tinker in the mid lane. His hero pool as the 4th position is quite large: Earth Spirit is his signature herp with 53% win rate for 613 matches. Save also played Io in 109 games and holds a 59% win rate.

Alliance reveals new roster

The team of Adrian Fata Trinks and Neta 33 Shapira has officially signed for Alliance as its new squad for Dota 2. Fans found hints of this transfer on social networks.

According to Reddit users, Nikolai “Nikobaby” Nikolov posted on Twitter that the team will go to Gothenburg, which is also where Alliance has its headquarters. Initially, fans expected that the composition will hold a bootcamp there, but soon Nikolov removed the post. Later, the Swedish organization posted several pictures of the new composition in the Instagram stories, but covered the faces of the players with emojis.

Fata and 33 registered the team on September 18th. In addition to Nikobaby, the lineup also includes Linus “Limmp” Blomdin and Simon “Handsken” Haag. On 3rd October, the squad received an invitation for the close qualifiers of the MDL Chengdu Major.
