Rainbow Six fans definitely enjoyed 2019 because some of the biggest matches took place in the course of the year. However, the Rainbow Six Pro League featured some of the biggest changes ever seen. Various teams made changes to their rosters in 2019, and some of the biggest names in the Rainbow Six scene retired. Some teams also decided to drop a few players because they wanted to add someone better than them. But since roster changes don’t always result in positive things, fans are eagerly waiting to see how things will go down next year. Today, we are going to talk about some Rainbow Six teams that you should keep an eye on in 2020.
The first team we would like to mention is Team Reciprocity. Everyone knows that this North American team is one of the most underrated Rainbow Six teams in the world. Although they didn’t manage to deliver amazing results in the season 9 Pro League Finals, they made a big come back in season 10. After the finals of season 10 ended, the team announced that they are going to drop Alexander “Skys” Magor and Mark “MarkTheShark” Arismendez. However, it was then announced that Zachary “Nyx” Thomas and Franklyn “VerctL” Cordero were going to fill their empty spots in the team. In any case, they are surely going to leave everyone surprised next year.
Evil Geniuses had a slow start in 2019, but they still managed to get back on their feet in the Pro League. They failed to win against Team Empire in season nine Milan Finals, and they had a hard time pulling through some big tournaments. However, now they have decided to make some big changes to their rosters and will make a comeback in 2020. The team has now decided to pick up Aaron “Gotcha” Chung, and his signing has left a lot of fans excited. For those who don’t know, Gotcha was the former coach of EG before he joined TSM. EG has also picked up Tristan “Ranger” Pehrson to further strengthen their roster.
FaZe Clan has always left fans surprised with their performance. Through their amazing performance in 2019, they have proved that they have what it takes to become one of the best teams out there. Although the team struggled during the finals of the past two seasons, they have always made a strong come back. At the moment, FaZe Clan hasn’t made any big changes to their roster, something which makes us wonder which new strategies they will use in 2020.
Fnatic’s Rainbow Six Team always goes unappreciated, but they are still trying their best to make their fans happy. After a hectic match against NORA-Rengo in season nine finals, Fnatic got eliminated by Team Empire. However, it will be interesting to see how Fnatic is going to play this season as they have added MentalistC to their roster. Fans are currently wondering whether or not the new player is going to help his team become one of the best out there.
